As there can be some quite sensitive information stored in Eequ accounts (especially mentors’), MFA would be a valuable added layer of security and give mentors and customers peace of mind.

Hello Inspire team, Thank you for taking the time to post this request. We are currently working on a magic link authentication system which will entirely replace the password option. This will mean that the system administrator will need access to their emails in order to login.
Will this meet your needs?

Hi Avida, and thank you for your quick reply! While I suspect magic links are probably more secure than passwords (which can be reset with an email address anyway!), I think long-term I personally would still prefer some MFA solution, because it removes the vulnerability of having a single point of access (e.g., if the email is intercepted, or someone gains access to your email account, having that code in an unrelated app or as a text would certainly help). I’m hardly a cybersecurity expert though, and as I say, magic links do remove some of the vulnerabilities of passwords.
